The BSE Sensex crashes 1,247 points intra-day before cloasing at 58,841 (down 1,093 pts / -1.82% while NSE Nifty50 sunk to a low of 17,505 before ending at 17,530 (down 346 pts or -1.94%).

Cement companies Tech Mahindra & UltraTech Cement down over 4 per cent each and become the major laggards. It firms Infosys, Wipro and TCS were the other top losers on BSE.
