Indian equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 ended lower from respective day’s highs, but manage to close 1% up. BSE Sensex jumped 579 pts / 1% to 59720, while NSE Nifty-50 closes at 17816, up 194 pts / 1.1%. Sun Pharma, Tata Steel, Dr Reddy’s, Titan Company, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Tech, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, Axis Bank were among top BSE Sensex gainers. On the other side, Reliance, Nestle India, Power Grid and Infosys were the top index laggards.
