Indian major indices BSE Sensex gave up around 640 points to close at 56,789. Nifty also sheds 216 points to close at 16,878.
Both the indices closes below the psychological levels. Sensex breaches 57000 marks while Nifty 17000 marks.
Only pharma and healthcare sector closes in thr green and all other sectoral index closes in red zone.
