Indian benchmark indices declined by around 0.65% on Thursday under selling pressure in banking, finance and capital goods stocks due to inflation and growth concerns. Weaken rupee and rising crude prices also impacted the market sentiment toward downside.
The BSE Sensex declined 390.58 points to settle at 57,235.33 and the NSE Nifty fell 109.25 points to close at 17,014.35.
